Hi Everyone, I hope you's are all well?

Well my course is going to finish in late may/early june and I'm not 100% sure of what I have to do about the BTEA.
I have to go back for another year in Sept. I rang the SW but the fella on the phone wasn't too sure. He reckons that I will automatically go back on the dole and then automatically go back on to BTEA in sept.
Does anyone know if this is the way it works?

You will get a letter asking your college to fill in your finishing date for this term which you must then send back in to SW.
In August re apply for the BTEA.
some of the people on my course have already had their letters and othes have not.

Cheers Tom, did it say on the letters about going back on the dole? Or do I have to resign on?

I'm interested in this subject too as I am on a one year BTEA course also and am finishing in June. I dunno what happens then.

You need to go to your dole office at least 6 weeks before your course ends and inform them that you will be re-signing. Otherwise when the course finishes you could be waiting for the dole.
